About Me and my dogs
In 2005, I got my first Border Collie, after a short but wonderful life with a German
Shepherd by the name of "Major" McGregor O'Duff. Although I still love German
Shepherds I wanted to get away from all the health issues related to the breed. Major
went through several knee surgeries and I finally lost him to Lymphoma at 5 1/2 years
old. He was my first dog and I learned a lot from him. Dogs have that ability to give no
matter what. Their loyalty to their owners is hard to find in human companionship. Major
was my best friend.
I got Danny in April of 2005, at 7 weeks old from Dawne and Julie Bosier, at Bosiers
Border Collies.www.bosiersbordercollies.com They entrusted me with a special boy with
one blue eye and one brown. After falling totally in love with Border Collies and Danny, I
felt you can't have just one. I was blessed with another boy from the Bosiers at the end of
2005. His name is "Tag" Ewe R It. My third Border Collie came from a good friend and
trusted breeder, Megan Harrison www.borderpatrolbordercollies.com at the end of 2007.
His name is McDuff, BorderPatrol Duffy's Eye on Ewe. We are having fun now!!!!
I live in Des Moines, Iowa, USA. I joined a dog obedience club in town when I got my
German Shepherd in 2000. I have since discovered all the wonderful dog activities out
there. We take lessons and compete in conformation, obedience, agility, tracking and
herding around the Midwest. I have made several new friends in the dog world both
human and canine.
I invite you to meet my boys and enjoy my pictures. At this time I do not breed Border
Collies and may never but I can put you in contact with some wonderful Border Collie
Breeders or Border Collie Rescue.
